Alcohol was always on my mind, and one day I finally admitted I needed to stop.

My name is Germán Ángel, and alcohol entered my life when I was just 14 years old. During my youth, drinking cost me jobs, opportunities, caused problems with my family, and even shook my sense of dignity. At 30, I made a decision that changed everything I stopped drinking.

Now, in 2026, at 66 years old, I celebrate 35 years of sobriety, a life rebuilt with clarity, purpose, and freedom. Sobriety didn’t just save me it gave me the strength to build businesses, work as a television producer, remain active in Spanish radio, and have a family where my three now adult children, all professionals, never had to see me drunk. Everything I became began the day I chose to live without alcohol.

I know how heavy this path can feel: the jobs lost, opportunities missed, the strain on family and friendships, divorce, family raptures, and the toll it takes on your self-respect and sense of dignity.

I want to offer my support to anyone who is ready to begin a new chapter and leave alcohol behind. My personalized one-on-one sessions are completely confidential, and I meet you exactly where you are in your journey. The first session is $500 for one hour, during which I will share practical strategies and tools that have helped me and countless others build a life free from alcohol.

Residential treatment programs like the Betty Ford Center can cost $10,000 or more for just 30 days, and while they offer intensive care, this single $500 session gives you immediate guidance, clarity, and tools you can start applying right away. It’s a small investment for a chance at freedom, a life rebuilt, and the opportunity to reconnect with yourself and your loved ones. Sobriety is possible, and you don’t have to face this journey alone I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

In 2023, I founded The Angel Saving Lives Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to educating young people under 21 about the dangers of alcohol. Through this work, I aim to share my experience, raise awareness, and inspire the next generation to make healthier choices so they don’t have to face the struggles I went through.

Struggling with alcohol addiction can feel incredibly isolating, but it’s important to remember you are not alone. Whether you are ready to begin your own journey to sobriety or supporting a loved one, taking the first step and seeking guidance can make a life-changing difference. There is hope, there is support, and a brighter, freer future is possible.
